Double Pet Peeve

Okay I apologize...it was supposed to be one for each of the next five days. But I can't do it. I have one right now that I need to just get out there.

Number 3-2:

When people think a break up is the end of life as they know it. Then they post...for WEEKS... all these stupid quotes about broken hearts and how the guy is a jerk. 

       

Look, I sympathize, I understand it hurts and I am truthfully sorry that things didn't work out. However (and sometimes I feel like I am the only one who feels this way) I would rather have them be honest with me and end the relationship if they truly didn't want to be with me. That is just the way life is. You can't be selfish and try to keep someone who has no reason being in a relationship with you. Also, guys are NOT all jerks. That assumption really, REALLY, bothers me. It's so unfair and just because things didn't go the way you wanted them to does not make him a jerk. So please don't say that. Lastly, please don't reblog, retweet, re-whatever hundreds and hundreds of sappy quotes about love and heartbreak for me to read all over my newsfeed. Move on and gain a little confidence in yourself. Learn to be more independent if you can't handle the possibility of loss.

Wow...I really get all riled up about these things hah. Sorry!

Pet Peeve Thursday Edition

Number 3:

Chain E-mails (or spam). 

Unfortunately this still happens. Often it's from my grandma, so I can excuse it for the most part. 

But I still don't like getting them, never has anyone I know been positively affected by these. As far as spam goes, at least it all usually finds its way to my 'junk' folder, because that is what it is. 

My face when I realized that it is down to the final three girls in Americas Next Top Model. 

Saturday

Not sure why I am blogging about this so early BUT.....
This Saturday is FREE COMIC DAY down at the best comic shop in town. It's a cute, tiny little place packed with hobby items and hundreds of comics/graphic novels. So my brother and I are going to take a trip down there. They never have any amazing comics to give away, but hey, if they are free then I will definitely take one! I'm pretty sure one of the comics they are giving away is Archie, and I like the Riverdale gang so that is probably the one I will choose out of the batch.

And then after that my landlord is having a BBQ for his kids birthday and what do you know? We were invited! I haven't had anything on the barbecue since Christmas! So I am super excited about this as well because me and any barbecued food, we were made for each other.

Anyways that is it for now!

Pet Peeve Wednesday Edition

Number 4: 

Texting while you are with someone, during class, or when you are driving.

The first two are incredibly rude. Especially when you are with someone and they give you the 'just a minute' finger because they need to text someone to talk about how they lost a napkin in the wind. And then you are left there standing for the next five minutes looking awkward. And of course, the last one is just stupid and dangerous.
